Dyslexia Awareness Month

October 1 - October 31

Dyslexia Awareness Month, observed throughout October, aims to raise awareness about dyslexia, a learning disability that affects reading, writing, and spelling. This month promotes understanding of dyslexia, its signs and symptoms, and the importance of early intervention. Dyslexia Awareness Month also emphasises the importance of creating inclusive educational environments, advocating for support services, and celebrating the strengths of individuals with dyslexia. The goal is to reduce stigma and encourage greater support for people with this common learning difference.
